Alec took the phone and I watched his eyes shift to black quickly. Taking back Jasper’s phone and tossing it to him, I tried to keep Alec focused. “Alec! Look at me!” I grabbed his shoulder and shook him but he wasn’t really paying attention to me. “Luna! Get back!” I heard a few men yell. SLAP! My hand made contact with Alec’s face hard enough that he took a few steps back. It sent a jolt of pain through my arm but it wasn’t terrible. It did make me wince and drop my shoulder. His eyes snapped to mine. It took him a second to register my pain but when he did, I saw him fight back control over his wolf. Alec closed his eyes and I felt someone grabbed my arms and pull me back. Alec snapped his eyes open and glared at the warrior. “Don’t f ucking touch her.” He said in a low warning growl.
