I’ve already requested that the clinic be properly heated with warming equipment available at all times." She pulled her coat tighter, teeth chattering uncontrollably. Without Andrew Smith by her side, her recovery had noticeably slowed. The cold seeped into her bones, making her heart feel frozen.

Robert Thompson had no choice but to lie down on the treatment table.
