Victoria froze for a moment when she heard the words, then quickly lowered her head to hide the shock in her eyes.
This guy actually knew William! And he knew she was William's mistress.
Despite her surprise, Victoria kept a calm front and said, "I haven't told him anything. He hates my dad. If I even mention him, he loses it, so I don't dare."
The man scoffed, clearly not buying Victoria's story.
He stood up and signaled to the other two men in the room.
One of them left and came back with a big basin of water, placing it in front of Victoria.
"What are you gonna do?" Victoria shouted, panic in her voice.
The man didn't waste any time. He shoved Victoria's head into the basin, holding her down despite her frantic struggles.
Victoria choked on the water, her throat burning with pain.
She fought desperately, her hands flailing against the water's surface. Just as she felt she was about to suffocate, the man yanked her out of the water.
Victoria's face was flushed red, her mouth filled with water, her throat in agony, unable to even cough.
The man disdainfully tossed the basin aside and lit a cigarette. "I'm warning you one more time. If you try any tricks, I have plenty of ways to make you suffer."
Victoria clutched her throat, gasping for air.
The man took a drag from his cigarette, exhaling a thick cloud of smoke, and said slowly, "I'll ask you again. What does William know? If you don't tell the truth, I'll rape and kill you."
Victoria's body trembled involuntarily at his words. She looked at the man with tear-filled eyes, her lips quivering as she said, "He really doesn't know anything. He just uses me for his pleasure. The one he loves is Alice. He doesn't care about me at all."
At the mention of Alice, the man's eyes flickered briefly but quickly returned to normal.
He glanced at his watch, not wanting to waste any more time with Victoria, and ordered the others, "Take her outside."
"Yes, sir."
Two men responded and grabbed Victoria, dragging her out.
"What are you gonna do?" Victoria screamed in terror.
The man ignored her and left the small house.
Outside, there was a barren field with a large pit already dug in one corner.
"Bury her!"
With that, the man turned and left. The remaining two men immediately taped Victoria's mouth shut and dragged her to the pit. No matter how much she struggled, they pushed her into the pit.
Victoria watched as the dirt slowly swallowed her. She thrashed wildly.
But it was no use.
The dirt piled higher, and her movements grew weaker.
Victoria felt her body grow cold, her breathing labored, as despair and fear consumed her.
'No, save me! Help!' she could only whimper through the tape over her mouth.
The dirt covered her chest, her nose, and ears, making it hard to breathe.
Victoria's pupils dilated, her eyes bloodshot, tears streaming down her cheeks as she closed her eyes in despair.
The men finished filling the pit and were about to tamp down the dirt when a lookout called through the walkie-talkie, "Hurry, someone's coming."
Hearing this, the leader stopped and ordered, "Let's go. We can't get caught."
The others quickly left, and the leader disappeared into the night with an iron rod.
Just as they left, William and Harry followed the trail to the house.
Harry saw the door ajar and kicked it open.
The house was small, and they quickly searched it, finding no one.
In the middle of the room was a basin and some water stains, evidence that someone had been there recently.
William squinted, a bad feeling gnawing at him.
He clenched his fists, trying to control his anxiety, and ordered Harry, "Send out a search party. We must find her today!"
Harry nodded and rushed out.
William was about to leave when he noticed a splash of red in the corner, his pupils contracting.
He walked over and stared at the vivid red stain.
It was blood!
He ran to the spot, shouting, "Harry, come back!"
Harry had just stepped outside when he heard William's shout and quickly returned.
William looked at the freshly dug earth, his eyes wide with rage.
A voice in his head told him-Victoria was buried there.
He couldn't wait for tools and began digging with his bare hands.
Sweat beaded on William's forehead from worry, his fingers bleeding as he dug, but he didn't care, continuing to dig frantically.
Harry, seeing William's desperation, was terrified and tried to stop him. "Mr. Scott, calm down."
William pushed Harry away, continuing to dig, muttering, "Victoria, wait for me. I'll find you."
Harry had no choice but to help dig.
William's well-manicured fingers were torn and bloody, but he seemed oblivious to the pain, relentlessly digging.
Finally, their combined efforts revealed a strand of hair.
William was overjoyed, clearing the dirt to uncover Victoria's body.
Victoria lay in the filthy dirt, her clothes disheveled, her hair a mess, her lips pale, and she wasn't breathing.
"Victoria." William felt his mind go blank, then vomited a mouthful of blood.
He reached out, trembling, to touch Victoria's cold, pale face, murmuring, "Victoria, wake up."
He knelt, holding Victoria's body, sobbing like a child.
Harry, unable to bear William's pain, shouted, "Mr. Scott, she's still warm. Try CPR!"
"Yes, CPR." William clung to this last hope and immediately began.
William knelt over Victoria, performing CPR, his eyes red, tears streaming down his face, dripping into the dirt.
Suddenly, a violent cough erupted, and Victoria spewed out a mouthful of filth.
