"Get out!" His voice was thick with sorrow, and his eyes were clouded with despair.

Harry clenched his teeth and backed out, closing the door behind him.

The room fell silent again, with only the sound of William's heavy breathing filling the space.

He closed his eyes, and images of Victoria and Samuel together flooded his mind. The beautiful memories he had shared with Victoria now felt like the sharpest blades, cutting deep into his heart.

Samuel held Victoria's hand as they walked into the room.
