Hearing the guy's words, Victoria frowned a bit but quickly pulled herself together. "Sir, legally speaking, this isn't our fault. We're compensating you out of goodwill. If you push for more, we'll have to go to court. We hope it doesn't come to that, but we won't back down if you keep pushing. It's the worst outcome for both of us."

The man hesitated for a moment and then gave in. "Alright, let's do it your way."

Victoria finally let out a sigh of relief.

That's when she noticed Diana and Frank standing nearby, watching her.

She realized this was her final test-handling unexpected situations.

And she nailed it.

"Great job!" Diana winked at her and said, "Congrats, based on your overall score, you and Wendy have secured the permanent positions!"

Victoria beamed with joy and kept thanking her, "Thank you, Ms. Simpson!"

"It's all your hard work," Diana waved it off. "Tonight, we'll celebrate, and tomorrow we'll sign the contract officially."

Victoria nodded eagerly. Wendy joined her, and the two of them danced around in excitement.

At the welcome party that evening, Victoria drank more wine than usual.

She was over the moon.

From now on, she could do the job she loved and save money to pay Alvin's compensation.

Life finally had hope again.

Dizzy from the drink, Victoria was escorted to her apartment by someone Diana had arranged.

But when Victoria opened the door, she was stunned.

A man was sitting on the sofa with his back to her, casually sipping a glass of red wine.

He had a tall, straight figure, wearing a black suit, with broad shoulders. Even from the back, he looked elegant and noble.

Victoria, feeling the alcohol, stared at him blankly, momentarily forgetting to react.

William looked at her flushed face and drunken state, feeling a certain part of his body stir.

He swallowed hard, trying to control his desire.

"Had too much to drink?" William's deep, husky voice sounded in her ear.

Victoria suddenly sobered up a bit, her eyes widening in surprise. "William? Why are you in my house?"

William placed the wine glass on the table, then stood up, looking down at her with deep, probing eyes. "Why can't I? Afraid I'll bite?" he said.

Victoria felt guilty under his gaze. She averted her eyes and tried to stay calm. "I think I've made it clear. Please leave me alone, okay?"

William snorted and mocked, "You really think you're that desirable," as he took a step towards her.

The dangerous vibe coming from him made Victoria back up until her back was against the wall, with no way out.

Victoria looked up at William, her lips trembling. "What do you want to do?" she asked.

William lowered his head, using his finger to lift her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. Her alcohol-laden breath brushed against his neck, stoking the surging desire within him that was nearly impossible to suppress.

He couldn't help but lower his head, whispering in her ear, "Every time I see you, I want to fuck you, just to make you understand that you can't mess with me. That is, unless I'm done playing with you. Otherwise, don't even think about escaping from me!"

A chill ran through Victoria's heart, and her body trembled uncontrollably, but she stubbornly gritted her teeth and said, "William, I have a new job and new goals now. I won't play your games anymore."

"Really?" William raised an eyebrow. "Is it that gallery job?" he asked.

Victoria nodded, "Yes."

William sneered, "Do you think getting a new job means you can escape from me? Don't be delusional!"

With that, William grabbed Victoria's waist, pulling her into his arms and pressing her against his burning chest.

"Let go!" Victoria used all her strength to push William away, but he held her tightly.

"I've already acquired nearly half of Starry Studio Gallery's shares. If you think you can escape from my grasp, you're dreaming." William's tone was menacing, causing Victoria's heart to contract violently.

To control her, he had gone to such lengths. He was simply a madman!

Victoria felt a chill all over, fear filling her limbs and bones.

She stammered, pleading weakly and helplessly, "William, please let me go. You can have any woman you want, why me?"

"Because I like your body!" William smirked, pausing deliberately before continuing. "How could I let my prey escape?"

With that, William's tongue delved into Victoria's tender lips, intertwining and tasting, savoring the moment.

Victoria's mind went blank, with only a shred of reason left. Desperately, she bit down hard on William's lip until she tasted blood. Through her tears, she looked at him and cried, "William, please let me go!"

William narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "Since you won't take a warning, then you leave me no choice."

With that, he roughly picked Victoria up and opened the bathroom door.

There was a single bathtub filled with warm water, a clear indication of his premeditation.

William carried Victoria inside, throwing her in without any care.

Victoria fell into the water unprepared, the splashing water hitting her face, waking her up completely.

"William, what are you doing?" Victoria frantically supported herself in the tub, looking at William warily. "What do you want?" she asked.

William curled his lips evilly, looking at her with a half-smile. He said, "Why don't you take a guess?"

He then unbuttoned his shirt collar as he slowly approached Victoria.

Victoria was terrified, shaking her head in refusal. She shouted, "No! Don't touch me!"

William bent down slightly, one hand supporting her buttocks, the other gripping her waist, forcing her to kneel on the edge of the tub.

Victoria's clothes were soaked, clinging to her petite and delicate body, which showcased her graceful figure.

William's throat tightened and his breathing grew heavy. "If you won't cooperate, I'll just have to force you." As he spoke, his hand caressed her silky smooth skin, gradually moving up until it stopped at her full chest.

Victoria was terrified, shaking her head and struggling. She repeated, "William, please let me go."

At this moment, William couldn't hear Victoria's pleas. His body seemed to be on fire, ready to explode.

His breathing grew heavier, his eyes filled with desire. He leaned down, kissing Victoria's lips, licking and biting repeatedly until Victoria couldn't breathe, then reluctantly let go of her.

With that, Victoria lay limp in the water, gasping for air.

William then unbuttoned his pants, a suggestive smile on his face. He said, "Good girl; spread your legs."
