Chapter 74

Victoria was stunned.

"You're still young, let's take it slow, okay?" Samuel asked gently.

Samuel's words, "You're still young," completely shattered her last line of defense.

Victoria bit her lip, tears streaming down her cheeks. She blinked hard, trying to suppress the pain surging inside her, and nodded with difficulty, "I understand."

Samuel handed her a few tissues, "Why are you crying? I don't mind, so why should you? When you've made up your mind, give me an answer, okay?"

Victoria nodded, looked at the box in her hand, thought for a moment, and handed it back to Samuel, "Samuel, I can't accept this right now. I hope you understand."

Samuel reached out and took it, "Okay, I understand."

Samuel drove Victoria back to her apartment.

He helped her carry her bag out of the car.

Before handing the bag to Victoria, he pulled her into his arms and gently kissed her forehead, saying, "Good night, Victoria."

Victoria stood there in a daze, watching him smile and say goodbye before driving away.

Watching the black luxury car disappear into the distance, her eyes were filled with complexity and confusion.

The night breeze blew away the smog in the air, and the stars shone brightly.

Victoria opened the door to her apartment, and the room was pitch black. She was about to turn on the light.

But she saw a red ember on the sofa, flickering on and off.

Someone was in her home!

Victoria gasped and was about to run to the door when a familiar voice sounded in the room.

"Come here!" William's voice carried a hint of coldness.

Victoria stopped in her tracks, standing at the entrance, hesitating and not daring to take a step forward.

William's voice came again, "I'll say it one more time, come in! Otherwise, I don't know what I might do!"

The threat in his words was even stronger than before, making her shiver uncontrollably.

With a soft click, she turned on the room's light.

Taking a deep breath, she walked heavily towards the living room.

William sat on the sofa, legs crossed, lazily leaning back, a cigarette between his long fingers, the red ember flickering.

He looked up at Victoria, his deep pupils narrowing, his thin lips pressed into a straight line.

Victoria felt a chill run down her spine under William's gaze. She swallowed and tentatively asked, "Mr. Scott, what do you want from me?"

William flicked the ash from his cigarette, squinting his eyes and looking at her with a half-smile, "What, did I interrupt your intimate moment with Professor Brown?"

Hearing "intimate," Victoria's face changed instantly, "You saw it."

Her trembling voice betrayed her inner fear.

William blew out a smoke ring, casually saying, "Are you referring to the hug or the kiss on the forehead?"

Victoria didn't answer; she didn't know what to say at this moment.

She only knew that William's calm tone contained a lot of anger.

William sneered, stood up, and walked over to Victoria, looking down at her.

Victoria looked up at William in panic.

William reached out and pinched her sharp chin, shaking it slightly.

"I never expected that you, with this pretty and innocent face, is so good at seducing men in private!"

Victoria's chin hurt from his grip, and she frowned, "Let go of me."

William's eyes grew sharper, staring at Victoria without saying a word, but the atmosphere around them grew colder.

Victoria felt like she was being stared at by a venomous snake, her whole body covered in goosebumps.

"William, please let go, my chin hurts," Victoria's voice was soft and weak.

William looked at her pale face and suddenly laughed, "Victoria, you're always so good at looking pitiful, but..."

He suddenly picked Victoria up, sneering, "But I just fall for it."

Victoria struggled, pushing against William, but she was no match for the 6'1" William and was eventually carried into the bedroom.

Victoria was thrown onto the bed, her body hitting the mattress, making her groan in pain.

William took off his suit jacket and threw it on the carpet. He pulled at his tie, walking towards Victoria on the bed.

He leaned over, trapping her in his arms, "You know, I wanted to do this in the greenhouse!"

Victoria watched as William tied her hands with his tie, panicking, "William, what are you doing!"

William lifted Victoria's chin, whispering in her ear, "Making love to you!"

"No!" Victoria struggled desperately, "William, you can't do this to me, let me go!"

William's lips curled into a wicked smile, pulling her up from the bed, "Victoria, I've spoiled you too much lately. You forgot I warned you before, my patience is limited. I'm giving you a chance now, be obedient."

His voice was ambiguous and provocative.

Victoria shook her head, her eyes filled with humiliation and fear, her eyes red as she stared at him, "William, please."

Her pleading look only fueled William's desire to conquer.

He leaned down, forcefully prying open her teeth, gently entangling her tongue, savoring her.

Victoria resisted fiercely.
