Chapter 2

A simple sarcastic remark, and Isabella's heart ached first.

No one knew that Isabella loved Michael.

Even though she had forced him to marry her with an engagement, she had secretly rejoiced for a long time because they became husband and wife.

But after Michael married her, he completely ignored her.

William didn't even want to touch her, and he found it annoying to even look at her.

The Brown Family kept urging her to have an heir, and her grandfather Daniel Wilson also hoped she would have a child soon.

At first, she understood that William was upset about being separated from Bianca and didn't hold it against him.

It was only tonight that she realized it was all for Bianca.

How ironic!

They were already married, yet he remained physically faithful.

William had been married to someone else anyhow!

The more Isabella thought about it, the more stifled she felt, but her smile became brighter. "If you have a sexual dysfunction, I don't mind doing IVF. Or if you don't mind raising someone else's child, I can find a surrogate. You know,  the prerequisite for your inheritance is to have a child. After tonight, you have two months to think it over. Anyway, you compromised to marry me for ten percent of the shares, so compromising to have a child for the management rights shouldn't be a big deal. I'm very open-minded. As long as you complete the task, I don't care how you play or how many lovers you have..."

Before Isabella could finish her sentence, William suddenly stood up and grabbed her jaw, pushing her back.

The chair tilted back, and she hit the table behind her, barely steadying herself.

William's eyes were cold. "Isabella, how dare you treat me as a tool for having children?"

Of course Isabella dared.

When Daniel had an accident, she dared to force him to marry her with an engagement, so what else wouldn't she dare to do?

Isabella closed her eyes, enduring the discomfort, "IVF or surrogacy, or you can have the child with me yourself, your choice!"

Michael looked down at Isabella's cold, mocking face, countless emotions flashing in his eyes.

How many years had it been since someone threatened him like this?

Michael was so angry that he laughed, "You think you're worthy of having my child?"

Isabella also laughed, her beautiful eyes narrowing and shining sharply.

"Fine!" She pushed Michael away, shifting her weight forward to bring the chair back to the ground.

As soon as she was back on her feet, she opened her bag, and threw a stack of papers in Michael's face. "Then let's get a divorce. Your friends are all here, so they can be witnesses. I don't want a useless cheater who can't even have children!"

No one knew how much courage it took for Isabella to say that.

The divorce agreement had been in her bag for a long time, ever since her 99th attempt to seduce Michael had failed.

She loved Michael, but this was as far as it could go.

She had tried very hard to be with him.

Especially, he shouldn't have used Bianca to humiliate her.

With the backing of the Brown Family, Michael had always been a leader in their circle.

After Michael took over the company as an adult, he gradually turned the Brown Group into a multinational corporation, ranking among the world's top companies.

It had been a long time since anyone dared to throw something in his face.

And in front of so many people.

The atmosphere in the banquet hall instantly turned icy, with only Bianca barely containing her excitement.

She pretended to mediate, "Isabella, how can you talk about divorce with Michael in front of so many people? You're trampling on Michael's dignity! Apologize to Michael, and forget about the divorce! If you're angry about the joke earlier, I apologize. Don't let it affect your relationship with Michael; that would be my fault!"

"Who do you think you are? You think you have the right to affect my relationship with him?" Isabella looked Bianca up and down with disdain, "This is none of your business!"

Bianca, feeling wronged, closed her eyes with tears, her eyes full of malice.

She thought, 'Isabella, go ahead and be arrogant. The more arrogant you are, the more Michael will hate you.'

"Michael, if you want a divorce, sign the papers. Sexual dysfunction is one thing, but dragging out a divorce, are you even a man?" Isabella said.

Bianca, unwilling to give up, jumped in to defend Michael. "Isabella, mind your words. Michael is a man, and it's too much to insult him like that!"

Isabella retorted, her probing gaze shifting between the two of them. "A man? What, have you tried sleeping with him?"

If they had really slept together, Isabella could demand more in the divorce settlement.

After all, it would be adultery during the marriage.

Bianca's face instantly turned red, her shy gaze sweeping over Michael.

She wished she could try!

After all, Michael was the man she had dreamed of since she was a child.

But unfortunately...

Bianca clenched her fists. "You don't have to slander me like this. Michael and I are innocent."

Isabella sneered, "Innocent like sitting on Michael's lap and kissing? That kind of innocent?"

Bianca's face turned green.

Michael looked at Isabella with a cold smile, his eyes dark and terrifying. "You want a divorce so badly, what, do you have someone else you like?"

"None of your business. Even if I don't have someone now, I can find someone after the divorce!" Isabella's eyes lifted, forming a beautiful arc.

She still had to fulfill Daniel's wish.

Finding a man willing to be with her wasn't hard.

Although finding someone better than Michael might be difficult, finding someone comparable was definitely possible!

"Besides, by divorcing, I'm doing you a favor. What are you dissatisfied with? Unless you don't want to give Bianca a proper status and want her to remain a mistress forever?" Isabella's meaningful tone made Bianca's face change. She looked at Michael with a pale, hopeful, and anxious expression.

But Michael didn't even glance at her; he kept staring at Isabella as if trying to see through her.

After a long time, he slowly spoke, "Divorce, fine! You said you played cards since you were a kid. If you beat me, I'll sign."

Michael held up the deck of cards on the table, his narrowed eyes revealing unreadable emotions.

Isabella didn't speak, just looked at him and smiled.

Her smile was cold, with an indescribable mockery.

"Are you scared?" Michael threw the cards back on the table, his mouth curling in contempt.

Isabella coldly laughed, "Remember what you said. If you lose, don't cry!"

With that, she raised her hand and took off her trench coat.

Isabella had come straight from Aiden's birthday banquet, still wearing the red dress from the event.

It was a dress she had specially chosen for herself, with a backless design that revealed her beautiful shoulder blades and a large area of delicate skin.

The cinched waist design accentuated her slender waist, and her chest formed a beautiful curve.

She was as beautiful as a siren, making people breathless.

All the men present were staring!

How could Michael bear to neglect such a beautiful woman for so many years?

Could Michael really have a sexual dysfunction?

Many people, daringly, glanced at Michael's crotch.

Michael's face instantly turned ugly.

His gaze fell on Isabella, his hand on the table clenched, veins bulging.

Bianca saw this and was so jealous her eyes were spitting fire!

She thought, 'Isabella, that bitch, grew up in the countryside but turned out so beautiful. With such a seductive appearance, she really knows how to lure men. Absolutely despicable!'

Isabella sat down at the table, leaning forward slightly, casually playing with the cards in front of her. "How do you want to play? Blackjack? Roulette? Or Poker?"

Michael's friends exchanged glances. Wow, Isabella really seemed to know her stuff!

"Blackjack, don't want you to lose too badly!" Michael said.

Isabella gave a wicked smile and started shuffling the cards.

Her fingers were long and slender.

Fifty-four playing cards were manipulated into various tricks by her ten fingers, even the rich kids who were used to playing cards couldn't help but exclaim, "Impressive!"

Just based on her shuffling skills, Isabella was definitely a pro!

Even Michael's gaze towards Isabella changed slightly.

Did Isabella really know how to play cards? Where did she learn it?

After shuffling, Isabella leaned over and dealt Michael a card.

Her deep cleavage was fully exposed due to the leaning motion, making everyone swallow hard.

Michael's face turned black on the spot!
