"The Wilson family usually doesn't get involved in other people's business, but if you really need help, just give me a call."
Atticus waved his hand, not giving Michael a chance to respond, and left, closing the door behind him.
In the hospital room, Michael stared at the closed door, his mind racing.
Atticus had just offered to help him personally.

Michael didn't care. Seeing someone approaching, he said directly, "I'm checking out. Inform the doctor."
With that, he hurried to leave.
The nurse, panicking, tried to stop him. "No, no, you can't. You just got injured, and it's been less than an hour. You can't leave the hospital now."
At this moment, the bodyguards outside sensed something was wrong and came over.
Atticus had just instructed them to keep an eye on Michael before he left. They couldn't let Michael check out right after Atticus left, could they?
"Move aside. I said I'm checking out. Don't you understand?"
Michael winced slightly from the pain as he moved. His back had hit a tree when he was holding Isabella, and now even the slightest movement caused sharp pain.
The nurse, seeing this, was troubled. "Mr. Brown, it's not that we won't let you go, but your injuries are severe. If you don't rest properly, it could lead to complications."
"Move!"
Michael's tone left no room for negotiation, only a cold command.
The aura he exuded made it impossible for anyone to argue.
"If you're worried about explaining this, you can call Atticus right now. He won't stop me."
Atticus already knew about the Brown Group's issues. He would understand.
Michael's reason for coming out today was to catch his assistant Ruby off guard. He had to be there.

"Forget it. If he's made up his mind, let him be. You guys come back."
He had underestimated Michael's determination.

After hanging up, Atticus called Holden.
"Holden, check on the Brown Group's situation. See what's going on."
Holden had just returned home after hearing about Isabella's fall. Seeing Isabella with red eyes, he knew what had happened.
Hearing that Michael had saved Isabella, he was still upset.
"Atticus, Isabella is divorcing Michael. What does the Brown Group's business have to do with us? Why investigate?"
"Didn't you see Isabella come back with red eyes? It must be related to that jerk Michael. I feel like going to the hospital to kill him!"
Holden's tone made Atticus feel both helpless and unsurprised.
Before realizing Michael's genuine concern for Isabella, he had felt the same way about Michael.
"Holden, calm down. This is serious."
"The Brown Group might be in big trouble soon. We need to be prepared to avoid any impact. If they really face a crisis, we need to be ready."
Hearing this, Holden's curiosity was piqued.
"Atticus, is this information reliable?"
Holden, though not involved in company management, had been exposed to these matters for a long time. The Brown Group was a significant entity, and any major move would cause a stir.
And Atticus was always cautious. He wouldn't mention it unless there was a sign.

"Just investigate. Why so many questions?"
Atticus didn't want to say too much over the phone, especially about Michael.
Holden was with Isabella now. If he told him, Holden might spill everything to Isabella before Atticus even got home.
