Isabella stopped struggling. She just wanted to know if he had really called out to her just now.
Did she ever have a place in his heart?
Michael's deep eyes were fixed on her as he lowered his head and said, "I said, I don't want you to leave. I finally got to see you in my dream. There's no way I'm letting you go just like that."
Isabella felt both angry and amused.
So, he just thought of her appearance as a dream.
The things he said might not even be true.
He just needed someone to be with him.
Just like how he called so many people to drink with him earlier.
Michael was afraid of being alone too.
She suddenly didn't want to dwell on these things anymore. Over the past few months, she and Michael had been through so much.
She almost forgot how long it had been since they sat down quietly like this to talk.
Ever since she left the Brown Family, every day had been like a battle. They either fought or exchanged harsh words, never showing their true selves.
This feeling of being held securely in Michael's arms was something she hadn't felt in a long time.
Knowing that he wouldn't say these things when he was sober made her want to cherish every moment now.
He said that their current situation was a dream, so she might as well treat it as one. When the dream ended, she would still be the eldest daughter of the Wilson Family, and he would return to being the high and mighty Michael.
They would both forget about today.
Isabella looked up at him and asked, "Michael, do you really think seeing me is a dream?"
She found it strange.
Michael clearly had no feelings for her, so why couldn't he bear to let her go in his dream?
Looking at the now defenseless Michael, Isabella suddenly realized that people were most vulnerable when drunk.
Could she use this moment to ask Michael about the secrets buried in his heart?
"That's right. If it weren't a dream, how could I see you?"
Michael tightened his grip, resting his head on Isabella's shoulder. He nuzzled his chin against her neck and let out a soft, contented hum.
Isabella's body trembled, her face turning bright red.

With that thought, Isabella pushed the koala-like Michael off her and made him sit on the couch.
"Michael, I have some questions I want to hear the answers to from your own mouth. You can't lie!"
Isabella stood in front of him, leaning down with a serious and stern look in her eyes.
But Michael was already drunk, his brain no longer functioning, only staring at Isabella with a dazed look, nodding dumbly.
"Okay."
As long as she was by his side, it didn't matter what she said or did, he would agree.
Seeing Michael so obedient and well-behaved, Isabella almost couldn't hold back her laughter.
At this moment, he was like a large, loyal dog, making her want to reach out and pet him.
She could tell that Michael was thoroughly drunk, responding purely on instinct, unable to think.
But that was even better. She could ask all the questions in her heart.

She stepped forward, jabbing her finger at Michael's chest, and demanded, "Michael, you wanted to marry Bianca all along, didn't you?"
This question had been bothering her for three years.

Three years ago, if she hadn't taken a marriage contract to the Brown Family and insisted on marrying Michael, Bianca would probably be Mrs. Brown by now.
Over the years, she had witnessed Michael's favoritism and protection towards Bianca.

Wasn't he drunk?

"I don't like Bianca. I never liked her. Why don't you believe me?"

She had to put her hand on his chest to stop him from moving.
"Sit down and don't move, or I'll leave right now."
