On the way back, the radio in Michael's car broadcasted news about Isabella.

Many netizens were calling out to Michael, telling him to stop bothering Isabella, saying she deserved better.

They urged them to get a divorce and let her be free.

As Michael listened, he felt upset, and he turned off the radio.

Michael walked to the stairs, turned sideways, and gave her a cold look, "If you are not my mother, do you think I would tolerate your actions even once?"

There was a hint of impatience in Michael's eyes.

She was Michael's biological mother, the one who gave birth to and raised him!

She would never allow any woman to hold a higher place in Michael's heart than she did. "Did that bitch Isabella say something to you? It's because of her that you've become like this! Isabella, that bitch, I won't let her off."

Stella was both angry and hateful, her face twisted.

There was no trace of the noble lady she once was.

Michael narrowed his eyes, "Even now, you still don't realize where you went wrong?"

Stella's eyes widened, "I did nothing wrong. It's her. She shouldn't have married into this family. Michael, I'm your mother. How can you talk to me like this?"

Michael couldn't be bothered to argue with her anymore, "Until you apologize to Isabella, your bank card will be indefinitely suspended. And don't let me see you associating with Bianca's family again."

With that, he returned to his room.

Downstairs, Stella, hearing that Michael was going to suspend her bank card and that she had to apologize to Isabella in person, smashed everything she could in a fit of rage.

It took a while for her to calm down.

Upstairs, Michael took a shower in his room and checked his injuries in the mirror. There was a bruise on his back.

He took some anti-inflammatory medicine and went to Aiden's place.

Isabella wouldn't be coming back tonight, and he wondered if Aiden would throw a fit when he found out.

Outside, Sophia had just left with a tray and greeted Michael, "Mr. Brown."

Seeing that a third of the food on the tray was gone, Michael was a bit surprised.

He pushed open the door to find Aiden holding a tablet, watching the news with a smile of pride.

It was news about Isabella.

Judging by Aiden's expression, he didn't seem surprised or shocked by it; rather, it was as if he had known all along.

Michael narrowed his eyes and walked closer, "Grandpa, did you know Isabella could race?"

Hearing Michael's voice, Aiden didn't even look up, just snorted, "She's your wife. If you didn't know, how would I? I just saw it on the news."

Michael didn't respond.

He clearly didn't believe it.

Aiden wasn't in a hurry. He was very happy watching Isabella on the news, but when he looked at Michael, his smile disappeared. "Isabella is excellent in every way. I don't know how she ended up with you. You don't know how good your wife is until you're abandoned. Then you realize what you've lost, and it's too late."

Michael felt uncomfortable all over and couldn't care about his pride anymore, "Grandpa, I know I was wrong. Please help me one more time. Does Isabella have any other secrets she's hiding from me?"

Michael's expression changed.
