Chapter 82
The thoughts and actions of the Taylor family were not lost on Michael.
He had been holding back from confronting them directly, out of respect for an old favor.
But their greed knew no bounds, Michael had reached his limit.
"You think it's over just because you say so?" Bianca suddenly let out a sarcastic laugh. Just moments ago, she had been playing the pitiful victim, but now her true colors were showing.
No matter how much she pretended, Michael never had any sympathy for her.
She dreamed of having Michael. She loved him so much that she studied abroad for three years just to be worthy of him.
For years, she had catered to his preferences, pretending to be gentle.
However, he still didn't care for her, and he even tied her up for Isabella.
"Michael, don't think you can settle everything just by that. You act like you're blameless, but in the end, you're still left with nothing!" She said smugly, "By the way, have you ever wondered why Isabella was so eager to divorce you? It's because Nolan, is back."
"She never liked you. Once your divorce is finalized, she'll run straight into Nolan's arms and say goodbye to you forever." Bianca had long since figured out Michael's weak spots.
Every word she said was like a sharp blade, stabbing into Michael's heart.
"So what if he's back?" Michael's face darkened, his hands clenched tightly, and he gritted his teeth as he responded.
He couldn't remember when it started, but Isabella had become increasingly important to him. Anything related to her, he couldn't ignore.
His emotions were influenced by her; just the thought of her being close to someone else made him feel a bloodthirsty rage.
Bianca's face was full of mockery, her laughter wild and unrestrained. "Michael, haven't you figured it out yet? The moment Nolan came back, you were dumped. It shows that Nolan is Isabella's true love, and you are just a stand-in."
As if trying to drag Michael down with her, Bianca continued, "Maybeyou can't possibly not see how much you and Nolan look alike, can you? When you two aren't speaking, you look exactly the same. Isabella was close to Nolan from the start; maybe she mistook you for him..."
The more Bianca spoke, the crazier she became, but soon she couldn't speak at all.
A large hand gripped her neck tightly, the force increasing, and the feeling of suffocation spread through her body.
Bianca opened her mouth but couldn't make a sound, her face turning from blush to pale.
"Mr. Brown, this could kill her!" The bodyguard's reminder snapped Michael back to reality. Seeing Bianca nearly dead in his hands, he released his grip with a dark expression.
He had almost killed the malicious Bianca, but killing her would dirty his hands.
Disgusted, he wiped his palm and coldly ordered, "Send her to Auroria. I don't want to see her again. And make the Taylor Family disappear as well"
He then strode away as if he had never been there.
Bianca, who had just escaped death, collapsed in her chair, terrified to the point of wetting herself upon hearing Michael's orders.
How could he do this to her? A place like Auroria, how could a woman like her survive?
Michael was just trying to scare her; she didn't believe he was that heartless.
"Michael, where are you? I was wrong. I shouldn't have done that to Isabella. Please, don't send me abroad. I'll do anything you want," Bianca, her lips pale with fear, screamed hysterically towards the door.
Suddenly, a tall shadow blocked the light coming in from outside.
Bianca looked up to see a face with only the eyes exposed, covered by a black cloth.
The man's voice was as cold as a robot's. "Mr. Brown has already left. It's useless to shout."
Hearing that, Bianca was utterly desperate.
When Michael drove back to the city, the streets were already lit with neon lights.
He was extremely agitated. Even he didn't know where this nameless anger came from.
Maybe it was from Bianca's words, or maybe it was because of Nolan, who was always more beloved than him
The car finally drove into the Brown Villa. After a day filled with too many chaotic events, he just wanted to return to the marital home he shared with Isabella and sit quietly for a while.
He didn't want to be disturbed by anyone.
But Michael didn't know that tonight was destined to be anything but ordinary.
Isabella had gone to Michael's apartment and the Taylor Villa to wait for him, but she hadn't seen him. Frustrated, she went directly to the Brown Villa to wait.
She believed Michael would come back.
When she entered the Brown Villa, Aiden had already taken his medication and gone to sleep.
Isabella didn't want to disturb him, nor did she want to face Stella at this time. She sent the servants away and sat alone in the hall to wait.
She thought there was a good chance she wouldn't see Michael tonight, so she was prepared to wait until tomorrow.
But to her surprise, she had only been sitting for a few minutes when Stella approached her with a tea tray.
Stella smiled warmly. "Isabella, you're back so late. Is the company too busy? Here, have some tea to relax. I've asked the servants to prepare some of your favorite dishes; they'll be ready soon."
Stella personally handed the cup to Isabella, her face maintaining a smile and her voice gentle.
Isabella was stunned.
She thought she was seeing something wrong in the middle of the night. She blinked to make sure she wasn't mistaken. It was indeed Stella in front of her.
Remembering the last incident, Isabella looked at Stella and then at the cup in her hand. She felt Stella was up to something.
Before Isabella could think further, Stella began to explain herself, "Isabella, did I scare you last time at the restaurant? It was all my fault, sorry."
Isabella remained silent, and she didn't expect Stella to apologize to her.
Isabella didn't know how to address Stella, so she politely put the cup down and, as a junior, asked, "Is there something you need?"
"Isabella, are you still mad at me?" Stella sighed, wanting to take her hand but afraid of being rejected. Her cautious demeanor was a far cry from her previous arrogance.
