Aaron knew he had truly hit Michael's sore spot this time. Given the current situation, he didn't dare provoke Michael any further. "Mr. Brown, I think with your perfect public image, no one would believe such baseless accusations."

Michael remained silent, his gaze not only cold but also filled with anger.

Aaron really didn't dare stay any longer. "Mr. Brown, I haven't finished the work you assigned me. I'll go handle it right away."

With that, Aaron quickly ran out without a second's hesitation.

The office door closed tightly once again.

Michael stared at the headline on the newspaper with a murderous look in his eyes.

Not only was the headline attention-grabbing, but the content was so detailed that he suspected someone had followed him into the hospital.

It listed all the tests he had undergone and even mentioned that he waited for the results before leaving.

At the bottom, there was a sentence.

Michael was speechless at first, then he laughed in anger.

To get a divorce, she even dared to spread rumors about his sexual function.

Michael clenched the newspaper, grabbed his coat, and stormed out.

At the Wilson Group, Michael stood directly at the front desk. "Where's Isabella? I need to see her!"

The receptionist gasped when she saw Michael's face and recognized him as Isabella's ex-husband.

Considering Michael's status, the receptionist didn't bother with an appointment and nervously pointed. "Take the elevator straight to the top floor, the conference room."

In the spacious conference room, Isabella was discussing the internal management positions of the company. She had just promoted a newcomer and was taking the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of everyone.

Before she could speak, there was a loud sound, with the conference room door was kicked open.

Isabella sat steadily at the head of the table, squinting at the furious Michael who walked in.

"Mr. Brown, this is the Wilson Group, not your Brown Group. Isn't this a bit too arrogant?" A board member recognized Michael and stood up angrily to stop him.

Isabella raised her hand to calm everyone down, indicating there was no need to be nervous.

After all, she knew better than anyone why Michael was here.

But Michael's gaze fell on the young man sitting to Isabella's left, a cold glint in his eyes.

The man was tall and handsome, wearing a well-fitted suit and white shirt that didn't look lifeless but exuded a rare aura for someone his age. He didn't look much older than Isabella.

The two of them sitting together looked very pleasing to the eye, a perfect match.

The fact that he was sitting next to her clearly showed he had her favor.

Michael felt a sudden sense of crisis. He strode over to Isabella, momentarily forgetting the most important matter.

Michael's eyes were cold as he stared at the man. "I haven't seen this person before, Isabella. Aren't you going to introduce him?"

Though he asked for an introduction, anyone could see the strong sense of oppression emanating from Michael.

He wanted to hear how Isabella would introduce him.

Hearing that, Isabella was taken aback.

She knew the real reason Michael was here. So she wasn't surprised when he kicked open the conference room door.

But now,  why was he suddenly confronting the new employee she had just hired?

But since he asked for an introduction, she would introduce him.

After all, the Wilson Group was her territory. She couldn't let Michael steal the spotlight.

"Since Mr. Brown is here, let's take this opportunity to formally introduce him to everyone." She gestured to the man beside her. "My friend, and the person I trust the most, the future Vice President of the company, Emilio Blair."

"Emilio, this is..." Isabella was about to introduce Michael to Emilio when Emilio interrupted her in a gentle tone, "Ms. Taylor, there's no need to introduce Mr. Brown. There's probably no one in Evergreen City who doesn't know Mr. Brown."

With that, Emilio politely extended his hand. "Mr. Brown, we'll inevitably cross paths in the business world. I hope we have the opportunity to collaborate."

"I'm not fond of dealing with strangers." Michael's attitude was very condescending.

Emilio was just a Vice President, yet he dared to interrupt Isabella in front of all the board members. What bothered Michael the most was the way Isabella called him.

How close were they for her to call him by his first name so casually?

Given their unusual relationship, Michael decided to teach him a lesson, but he didn't expect to slip up.

As he was about to tighten his grip on Emilio's hand, Emilio's weight shifted, and in just a moment, Michael's face darkened.

However, Emilio remained calm and even smiled.

Michael finally understood where the aura he sensed from Emilio came from. Emilio was not a simple person.

Suddenly, Emilio released his grip. Michael suppressed the tingling in his hand and turned his gaze to Isabella, speaking with jealousy, "Isabella, be honest. Is he the adulterer you found outside?"

"Michael, show some respect to Emilio!" Isabella's face turned blush with anger.

She had known Emilio since they were very young, practically growing up together. Later, Emilio went abroad, and they gradually lost touch.

But they still texted each other occasionally.

This time, Emilio heard about the Wilson Group's difficulties in Evergreen City and came back specifically to help her. She was overjoyed when she found out.

She wouldn't allow anyone to slander or defame her relationship with Emilio, including Michael.

"What did I say wrong?" Michael looked at Isabella protecting Emilio, his eyes burning with anger.

He looked Emilio up and down, drawing a conclusion. "Or do you want to change your taste? You didn't like the guy from a few days ago, so you switched to this type?"

For a first meeting, Michael's words were incredibly rude.

Isabella was about to retort when Emilio stopped her. He stepped forward and shielded Isabella behind him.

Emilio looked at Michael calmly. "Even someone like me who just returned from abroad knows about your relationship. Mr. Brown, as a man, don't you feel embarrassed questioning Isabella's judgment and coming here to cause trouble?"
