Upon hearing Layla's inquiries, Samuel felt sad.
The most relieving feeling was that it was all a false alarm, while the most terrifying feeling was waking up to discover that it wasn't just a nightmare.

"Let Owen come to see me. I want to see him now. Can you find him?" Layla tightly held Samuel's hand and pleaded, "I want to see Owen..."

The knife stabbed at the location of his heart.
Samuel didn't move. He even wished she would stab him, so he wouldn't have to feel guilty anymore.

Samuel dared not even imagine if he and Layla could still be together.
Owen's death was his fault. Layla would never forgive Samuel, nor marry him.
