"Can you help me send this bag back to the resort?" Layla considered the evening's events, unsure if that crazy Cassandra would go after her bag. This was a limited edition Himalaya Niloticus Birkin, and she would be heartbroken if it got dirty.

"Of course, I'd be happy to assist you. You are now a valued member of our brand, and I will contact you immediately when we have any new items. Please take care."

Cassandra, full of anger, walked out of the store, still cursing. She wasn't paying attention for a moment and bumped into Fanny, who pushed her away fiercely.

"Why did you cause a scene like that? Are you deliberately embarrassing me?" Fanny had been restraining her anger, but now it all exploded on Cassandra.

Cassandra felt wronged. "I was standing up for you."

"I didn't ask you to stand up for me. You acted on your own and made me look bad."

"Layla's just being arrogant? That bag must be fake, I swear," Cassandra insisted, but when she saw that no one believed her, her voice grew more urgent. "You heard it, that bag was originally ordered by Miss Eilish. Who else besides Mr. Holland could take a bag from Miss Eilish? Layla's sugar daddy couldn't possibly be Mr. Holland."

That was indeed a point of doubt.

Everyone raised their glasses in unison and drank.

Layla symbolically clinked glasses with them, then set hers down.

"Layla, everyone just toasted, why aren't you drinking?" Cassandra provoked her.

"I don't like drinking."

"This is courtesy, don't you understand? You must drink."

"Yeah, we're toasting to Ms. Taylor. If you don't drink, you're disrespecting Ms. Taylor."

Layla pursed her lips and thought, 'why should she show respect to Fanny? Is she worthy of my respect?'

Her expression was self-evident. She was looking down on Fanny, which made Fanny burn with anger. Layla had looked down on her when she was a director, and Layla still looked down on her now that she was a CEO. She was even more of a joke now. It seemed like she looked glamorous on the outside but was actually ridiculous, like a clown.

Fanny's hand tightened around her glass. She suppressed her anger and forced a fake smile. "Although there have been many conflicts between us, let's put those unpleasant things aside for now since we're out to have fun."
