Anna Ross looked at Sophia Roscente's expectant face and finally softened.

"I ran away from abroad."
"My parents forced me to study overseas, but I hated it there."
"So after they sent me, I just came back on my own."

"Even though I came back, my mom is like a total dictator."
"She's super strict with me, so I absolutely can't let her know I'm back!"

She said calmly, "If we have any special relationship at all."
"It's that we're actually cousins too."
