Anna's back straightened.
She looked at the representative from the partner company.
"May I ask how your company determined the source of the breach?"
The representative coldly opened a file.
"Our rival company released an identical proposal this morning."
"The timing coincides directly after you submitted the final version."
Chloe suddenly sighed.
She walked over to Anna.
Her tone was full of false pity.
"Anna."
"If you're having financial difficulties, you could have told me."
"Why resort to something like this…"
Anna's head snapped up.

"Director Valentine."
"You were the one who handed the materials to me yesterday."
"You also provided the encrypted USB drive."
Chloe's expression faltered slightly.

"Are you accusing me of framing you?"

"Mr. Li, I recommend we launch an internal investigation immediately."
Mr. Li stood up.
