Violet didn't chase after him. Her face, which should have shown shame and anger from being rejected, was instead filled with uncontrollable excitement.

She was right after all; Michael still had feelings for her.

Isabella had personally admitted to their divorce, and Violet had tested him, knowing that the only person he loved was her.

She had been sent to Auroria by Michael, enduring inhuman pain and suffering.

Just thinking about Isabella being whipped and kneeling on the ground, begging for mercy, made Violet ecstatic.

She had to make Isabella suffer a thousand times more than she did.

The more miserable Isabella was, the happier she would be.

Meanwhile, Michael, after circling around, finally spotted Isabella in a corner of the terrace.

Her long hair flowed over her shoulders, swaying in the wind, and her slender waist was accentuated by her dress.

Before Michael's eyes could light up, he saw someone he least wanted to see.

From behind, Nolan and Isabella were standing very close, almost as if they were about to kiss.

Michael's face immediately darkened, his fists clenched, and he strode over to them.

He didn't care what they were talking about; he pulled Isabella away from Nolan and into his own arms.

Michael warned Nolan, "Isabella is my wife. Nolan, you just got back to the country, so you'd better remember your place."

Isabella was stunned when her wrist was suddenly grabbed.

Hearing Michael's words, her anger flared up. "Michael, what are you doing? Nolan and I finally got a chance to meet, why should he listen to you? And you, what right do you have to control me?"

Isabella's face turned blush with anger.

He had already accepted the divorce, so why was he putting on this act?

"What right? I'm your man!"

"What right? I'm your husband!" Michael retorted bluntly.

But it was only then that he noticed Isabella had been standing near the glass, with some distance between her and Nolan.

Although he had realized it, he didn't want to explain in front of Nolan. He held Isabella tightly and said, "Isabella and I have something to discuss. Nolan, make yourself at home."

Michael's grip was strong, and as he led her through the crowd at the party, Isabella couldn't make a scene in front of everyone.

But Michael clearly took advantage of the situation, dragging her to a room upstairs in the hotel.

Once inside, he pushed her onto the bed, staring at her dress with a dark expression. "Take it off, or I won't mind helping you."

Michael's actions instantly reminded Isabella of familiar scenes.

That night at the Brown Villa, he had said the same thing, followed by a night of relentless "torment."

Isabella frowned, her hands tightly covering her chest.

She retorted, "The guests downstairs are here for my birthday party, Michael. Stop your disgusting thoughts. If I don't show up soon, Uncle Atticus and the others will come looking for you."

She had thought that the warnings from Atticus and the others at the party would make Michael more conscious, but Michael didn't care at all.

Even now, he was still thinking about making love with her..

But what Isabella didn't know was that Michael's loss of control was all because of the dress Nolan had given her.

Seeing that dress reminded him of her twirling happily in front of Nolan. Every second she wore it, his eyes burned with pain.

If she didn't want to take it off herself, he didn't mind doing it for her.

Suddenly, the custom-made dress on Isabella was torn to shreds in Michael's hands, revealing her delicate skin.

She was shocked, covering her chest and glaring at Michael. "Michael, you bastard! Even now, you're still in heat! Get out!"

Isabella's hands trembled with anger, not just because the dress was a gift from Nolan, but also because it was her birthday.

Michael had torn her dress. Did he have any respect for her at all?

"If I leave, you won't have anything to wear." Michael suppressed his anger, took out his phone, and called Aaron. "Bring the items up, and make sure no one sees."

Hearing that, Isabella's heart skipped a beat.

Soon, there was a knock on the door.

Isabella's heart was in her throat.

Michael wouldn't really have bought those things to use on her, would he? If he did, she would never forgive him.

But the next second, Michael walked in with two gift boxes.

Before Isabella could speak, Michael opened the larger box, revealing its contents-a red dress-and handed it to her.

Isabella's eyes widened, and she realized she might have misunderstood him.

Seeing Isabella's eyes change from anger to surprise, Michael awkwardly cleared his throat. He pushed the dress closer to her.

His tone was still as cold as before. "Just this once. If I catch you wearing clothes from another man again, see how I deal with you."

Isabella was speechless, thinking he was crazy.

What did he mean by that? The dress was from his own brother, Nolan.
