She always felt that Michael was becoming increasingly strange.

Before, she had tried everything to please him, just to get a few more glances from him, but all she received were his cold stares and sarcasm.

Now that she had completely given up and wanted to break up with him, he suddenly became possessive like never before, as if he had taken the wrong medicine. Could Michael have a severe masochistic tendency.

Isabella quickly shook off this crazy thought. If Michael had such a strange fetish, that would be too perverted.

Michael had originally planned to wait for her to get dressed and then take her downstairs.

Hearing her words, his expression instantly changed.

He strode to the bedside, leaned over her with his hands on either side of her body, and pinched her chin, questioning her harshly. "Say that again!"

Isabella's eyes widened as Michael's face came closer for a kiss. She belatedly tried to push him away. "Michael, you bastard."

The more she resisted, the more fiercely Michael kissed her.

"Michael." Just as Isabella was about to suffocate, Michael finally left her lips.

But he didn't let her off so easily. He lowered his head and bit her neck, lingering for a moment before continuing to kiss her collarbone.

This was Isabella's sensitive spot. Every time they made love, as long as he kissed here, she would become intensely aroused.

Knowing she would be embarrassed, he kissed her lightly, not leaving any marks. But it was enough to make Isabella's body heat up.

Before his body could react, Michael quickly got up and stood by the bed, keeping a distance from Isabella.

He was afraid that if he got any closer, he wouldn't be able to resist making love to her right there.

Isabella's face was flushed. Michael knew her body too well; she had almost cried out just now.

Before she could grab her clothes, Michael's words made her frown. "Stay away from Nolan from now on. I don't like seeing you two together."

He could tolerate anyone else, but not Nolan.

"Michael, don't go too far. Why can't I get close to Nolan? You're really unresonable!"

Michael sneered. "Isabella, do I need to spell out what you're thinking?"

Isabella looked shocked and stunned. " Michael, you'd better make yourself clear today!"

She could see the disdain and sarcasm in Michael's eyes.

He usually wronged she had affairwith others, but Nolan was his brother. How could he think that way about her and Nolan?

"Fine, let's make it clear." Michael's eyes were deep and unreadable. "Haven't you noticed? Whenever Nolan is mentioned, your reaction is the biggest. I only told you to stay away from him, and your reaction couldn't be more obvious!"

"Isabella, do you like him?" Saying this made Michael feel terrible, but he had to ask.

Seeing Isabella's expression, he regretted it.

Her special feelings for Nolan were obvious to him; how could she not know?

But the stunned Isabella wasn't shocked because Michael had guessed her feelings; she was shocked by Michael's words.

At first, she didn't understand the source of his anger, but now she knew everything.

She never expected that he actually thought of her that way. If she liked Nolan, why would she have put down her pride to marry him and stay by his side for three years without complaint?

Isabella was truly heartbroken by him. Since he was so suspicious of her, she might as well give him an answer. "Yes! I do like Nolan. I like his gentleness, I like how he always thinks of me. Can you do that?"

But her feelings for Nolan were not romantic; they were familial.

She didn't just like him; she felt sorry for his experiences.

Back then, he left without a word, going alone to a foreign country for three years.

Now that everything was stable, he came back because he was worried about Aiden.

Even though his legs were injured, no one cared about him.

And Nolan's brother, Michael, was suspicious of Nolan's actions just because he was close to Isabella .

Why should someone as noble and elegant as Nolan endure such disgusting suspicion?

Hearing her answer, Michael felt like his heart had been hit by a bullet, whose already sickly face turned a shade paler.

He clenched his fists to keep himself from losing control.

He couldn't understand. He and Nolan looked about very alike. Why did Isabella like Nolan and not him?

Violent thoughts surged in his mind. He wanted to pin her down and show her who her man was in the most intimate way.

But when he thought of her torn wounds and the people waiting for her downstairs, he held back. He couldn't hurt her heart any further.

He spoke in a calm voice, hiding his emotions, "Fine, I can't control who you like, but you must remember our marriage isn't over yet. Don't let me see you getting close to those men again, Nolan included!"

Before Isabella could respond, he stared straight at her. "Time is limited. If you don't change into your dress soon, I will make love with you right now."

Isabella's eyelid twitched hard, and she knew she wouldn't confront him head-on about this.

Now that she knew why he was angry, she needed to get out of this room first.

"I'll change!" She got up to grab the red dress from the box. In her haste, her current dress fell off.

Feeling a chill, she instinctively covered herself, only to meet Michael's deep gaze, which were filled with undisguised desire.

He wanted to make love to her, and Isabella's actions seemed like she was deliberately seducing him.

Seeing the heat in Michael's eyes, Isabella was startled. She quickly covered herself with the dress and shouted, "Who told you to look? Turn around!"

Thinking she was just shy, he chuckled. "Isabella, is this really necessary? I have been familiar with every part of your body?"

"I told you to turn around because I don't want to see you. What are you thinking?" Isabella gritted her teeth in anger but had to endure it for now.

Who knew if he would suddenly pin her down and have his way with her? She had to be cautious.

"Do you really think I want to look? It's boring," Michael snorted, glanced at her, and then turned around.
