Chapter 15

Harper just wanted Isabella to know that now the Taylor Family was under her control.

There was no place for Isabella anymore.

Harper humiliated her in public over the house, and Isabella wished she could tear off Harper's hypocritical face.

But she restrained herself.

Harper was waiting for her to make a move and cause a scene.

Isabella carried her suitcase and walked down the stairs step by step, standing coldly in front of Harper. "Are you getting too old and losing your mind? I said that house belongs to my mother, Grace. In a few days, I will personally take it back, and if anything my mom left is missing, I will make you pay a hundredfold."

Previously, her attention was all on Michael.

She didn't want Daniel to hear anything that would cause him distress, so she rarely inquired about the Taylor Family.

But now, Harper had provoked her.

She had no reason to endure it any longer.

Hearing Isabella mention the house again, Bianca quickly came over to pull Harper away.

She pretended to mediate but actually fanned the flames, "Mom, Isabella has been in a bad mood lately, so don't push her anymore. If Isabella really wants to come home, I can give up my room for her."

Isabella sneered, her gaze falling on Bianca'sswollen face, her voice cold and oppressive, "What, those two slaps earlier weren't enough to teach you a lesson, and you still dare to talk nonsense in front of me."

Bianca's face turned pale, and she put on a pitiful look in front of others, "Isabella, I didn't."

Isabella was tired of their act, "Bianca, don't get too complacent. Even if I divorce Michael, you'll never be Mrs. Brown."

"You, what do you mean by that?" Bianca panicked and grabbed Isabella, who was about to leave.

It was then that Bianca noticed that under Isabella's coat, she was only wearing lingerie, revealing a patch of bare skin, and there was an unintentional allure in Isabella's eyes.

Michael was still upstairs and hadn't come down.

What had they just done?

Bianca connected the dots, her face tightening. She couldn't believe it

Seeing Bianca's expression, Isabella understood immediately. She lowered her head and retaliated harshly, "Even if Michael treats you differently, so what? You two will never be together openly. Don't even think about it in this lifetime."

"What are you going to do?" A vicious look flashing in Biance's eyes as she tried to tear off Isabella's clothes in public.

Isabella had already seen through her and yanked her clothes back, throwing Bianca aside. "You want to know what I'm going to do? Just wait and see."

With that, Isabella grabbed her luggage and left without a moment's hesitation.

Her high heels and black coat made her more eye-catching.

Stella, seeing Isabella finally leave, felt a weight lifted off her shoulders and went to pull the stunned Bianca. "She's just a lunatic. Why bother with her? She's been married to Michael for three years and hasn't had a child. I've never liked her. But Bianca, you're different. You're the one I see as Michael's wife. Michael likes you too. Maybe he'll propose to you soon."

Bianca was a bit dazed, and Harper quickly chimed in, "Yes, Bianca, with Mrs. Brown backing you, what are you afraid of? Michael hasn't come down yet, probably because he's upset. He listens to you the most. You should go check on him."

Harper gave Bianca a look as she spoke.

Bianca snapped back to reality. Isabella's demeanor earlier didn't seem like nothing had happened.

She wanted to know if Michael had really slept with Isabella. "Mrs. Brown..."

"Alright, I understand. Go ahead. I won't let anyone disturb you."

With permission, Bianca quickly went upstairs.

Michael and Isabella's bedroom was easy to recognize; it was the only door on the second floor with a different color.

Bianca carefully knocked on the door, about to call out, when Michael's deep, irritable voice came through. "Get out!"

Bianca trembled but couldn't bear to leave. "Michael, it's me. Isabella has already left. I know you're upset right now. Can I come in and see you?"

Her voice was soft and pleading.

However, Michael inside didn't respond to her. He got up and walked to the window, seeing Isabella leaving decisively with her things through the floor-to-ceiling window.

Michael's eyes grew darker.

When Isabella decisively took off her clothes, he had no doubt she was determined to leave.

Outside, not getting a response, Bianca carefully turned the doorknob, finding it unlocked, and slipped inside.

The room was a mess.

Isabella's clothes, jewelry, and some small trinkets were scattered everywhere.

Michael was tall, standing by the window, and Bianca couldn't see his expression, only his broad, stern back.

Just standing there, he was like a king looking down on his kindom.

Bianca was infatuated with his noble and aloof demeanor.

She was willing to do anything to marry him.

She instinctively wanted to get closer to Michael, but as soon as she took a step, Michael's gaze swept over.

There was no emotion in his eyes, but he exuded an aura of dominance that ignored everything.

It made the air around them feel thin.

He spoke coldly, as if addressing someone insignificant, "I didn't let you in. Get out."

Bianca froze, biting her lip hard.

She thought that after the argument earlier, Michael would be extremely annoyed with Isabella. Why could Isabella still easily affect his emotions even after leaving?

And the white dress on the bed was the one Isabella was wearing when she came back.

She had changed her clothes in front of Michael, stripping down to her lingerie.

Bianca wished she could be the one doing all that.

To stand by Michael's side, letting everyone know she was his wife.

But Bianca also knew Michael's coldness and boundaries. She could make small mistakes, but she couldn't cross his line.

She couldn't panic. As long as they divorced, the position of Mrs. Brown would be hers.

Thinking this, she softened her tone, trembling slightly, "Michael, if you don't like it, I won't bother you. But if you need someone to talk to, I'll always be here."

Michael turned around without saying a word.

Bianca bit her lip, knowing that staying any longer wouldn't help, so she left.

As soon as the door closed, Michael's phone rang.

Ethan called to ask about the situation, "Michael, how's it going? Did you really catch someone?"

Michael, frustrated by Isabella's departure, didn't want to deal with it, "Mind your own business."

Just as he was about to hang up, Ethan stopped him, "Why are you in such a hurry to hang up? I know you're upset right now. What's the point of staying home? How about come out for a drink?"

Michael stared at the white dress on the bed, his eyes deep, "Where?"

"The Velvet Lounge."
