Meanwhile, Isabella got into the car and was about to contact her people when she suddenly received a call.
It was her friend, Olivia Smith.
When she was brought back to the countryside by Daniel, she met Olivia, who was there for a summer retreat. They were of similar age and shared common interests, quickly becoming good friends.
Later, she married Michael with the marriage contract, while Olivia entered the entertainment industry and became a popular star.
Although they hadn't seen each other much over the years due to various reasons, their relationship hadn't grown distant.
Olivia knew a bit about her situation.
As soon as she answered the call, Olivia's angry voice came through. "Isabella, I heard about what happened last night. How dare Michael treat you like that? He doesn't even deserve you. It's outrageous."
Isabella was about to speak, but Olivia couldn't hold back and started cursing Michael.
"No way, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. The Brown Family thinks they can do whatever they want just because they're rich. Michael cheats on you and doesn't let you see other man? Who does he think he is? If he doesn't allow it, we'll do it just to spite him!"
Isabella was taken aback.
Was it really necessary to get back at Michael like this?
However, hearing Olivia's rant, Isabella's anger towards Michael dissipated quite a bit.
After saying all this, Olivia realized Isabella hadn't said anything yet and quickly asked, "Isabella, where are you? I've pushed back all my schedules. Tonight, leave everything to me. I guarantee you'll be satisfied."
"What will satisfy me?" Isabella finally got a word in.
"Of course, celebrating you getting out of that awful Brown Family. Being single has its perks. Tonight, I'll have a dozen different male models to keep you company. You'll forget all about Michael and be surrounded by young, handsome men. Nine o'clock, The Velvet Lounge. See you there."
Olivia hung up the phone.
Isabella held her phone, a look of helplessness in her eyes.
Olivia's temper hadn't changed a bit. If she didn't show up, Olivia would probably be at her doorstep first thing in the morning.
But the feeling of not being restricted was indeed liberating.
She no longer had to stay in that empty house waiting for Michael to come back.
Nor did she have to hope every day that he would like her a little more.
Indeed, the people one liked when young would change as one grew up.
It was time for her to let go.
At night, The Velvet Lounge.
The most famous entertainment venue in Evergreen City, and the highest-end bar and entertainment private club in the city.
Entry required a reservation.
Olivia's family had been in business for generations, with industries all over the country. Getting in here was a piece of cake for her.
The hall was bustling with activity. Olivia was wearing a black haute couture dress, just above the knee, with an open-back design.
The top was adorned with ribbons shaped like gardenias.
Seductive yet pure.
Perhaps it was her aura that attracted people; many were gathered around Olivia, listening to her praise her private designer.
Olivia held a wine glass, her face already flushed, but she continued speaking, "I'm not lying to you. My friend is incredibly talented. She knows so much. The starry sky dress I wore when I debuted was designed by her, and the famous burgundy mermaid dress that everyone loved was also her creation. You don't come across such a genius every day."
Olivia hiccuped, "When she gets here, you all better treat her well. She was recently deceived and bullied by a bad man. Don't say I told you, okay?"
Olivia's fashion sense was famously good in the entertainment industry.
Those two dresses that were all the rage brought her a lot of attention. Many people had asked her where she, a newcomer, had borrowed such high-end dresses from and which famous designer had created them.
Olivia proudly told reporters, "These were exclusively designed by my friend. There's only one in the world. Why would I need to borrow?"
It turned out to be true.
"My friend is here." Olivia spotted Isabella at the entrance.
Isabella's height was not short for a woman. Tonight, she wore a red long dress, with a cinched waistline that perfectly showcased her figure.
The off-shoulder design exposed her delicate skin under the flickering lights. As she walked, her slender legs peeked out from under the dress.
She exuded a noble and cool aura that made people hesitant to look directly at her.
With such a perfect figure and appearance, even in the entertainment industry full of beauties, few could compare to Isabella.
Most importantly, Isabella no longer had to disguise herself.
Miss Wilson from the Wilson Family, Isabella, returned to the public eye.
Isabella walked straight towards Olivia, who was waving her hand. People around were captivated by her stunning face.
They had wanted to meet Olivia's private designer out of curiosity.
They didn't expect Isabella to be such a sexy beauty.
After not seeing each other for a long time, Olivia ran over and hugged Isabella. The two of them held hands and sat in the center.
Olivia introduced Isabella to the people around her. A group of seasoned socialites, seeing such a beauty as Isabella, naturally became very enthusiastic.
During this time, Olivia called over a few young men with good physiques and sweet tongues to drink and play cards with Isabella.
Isabella didn't refuse and played a round with them.
Little did she know, in a VIP room upstairs, Michael and Ethan were drinking.
Upon hearing that Michael was at The Velvet Lounge drinking, Bianca rushed over with her friends without a moment's delay.
Since last night, she was now widely recognized as Michael's unrequited first love.
She hadn't succeeded last night, and she couldn't miss this opportunity tonight.
Drunk men often lost control of their desires. As long as she appeared in front of him, everything would fall into place.
So before coming here, she gritted her teeth and spent a fortune on a custom-made dress. The white tulle dress subtly revealed her figure, and she wore light makeup.

"Bianca, wait a minute. Look over there. Isn't that your sister Isabella?"
Bianca followed the pointing finger and her face changed.
Why was she here?
"Look at the person next to her. Isn't that the popular star Olivia? How are they sitting together? Bianca, didn't you say Isabella was a lowly person who had been in the countryside for over a decade?"
Bianca forced a smile, "Maybe Isabella saw Olivia and went up to ask for a photo? You know she's just a bumpkin. It's normal for her to get excited when she sees a celebrity."
