At the Scott Family's house.

Layla, who had been detained and reprimanded by Isabella's people, returned home and just finished recounting the incident.

Layla's father, Vance Scott's face changed and made a phone call.

He immediately convened a family meeting overnight.

Two hours later, the study door opened, and several influential and powerful familie members, along with Layla's grandfather, Will Scott, came out with dark expressions.

Layla sensed something was wrong.

Everyone in the room turned cold, and Vance stepped forward and kicked her. "Layla, it's one thing to mess around, but did you leave your brain at home? How could you provoke someone like Isabella? You almost got Mason killed."

Others chimed in, "It was hard enough to get Mason into the police department through connections, and now you've bumped into someone we can't afford to offend. Not only did you implicate Mason, but you also dragged the entire Scott Family into this. What were you thinking?"

"Did you even consider that just because Michael told you to call the police, you actually dared to do it? No matter how much they argue, they're still a couple. Don't you know that every wealthy family cares about their reputation? Do you even know who you can't afford to mess with?"

Layla was dumbfounded by the scolding.

Layla panicked.

"Bianca, only you can save me now!" Layla told Bianca everything that happened at the police station, asking her to plead with Michael.

"Go on!" Michael opened the car door and questioned coldly.

A photo quickly came through on his phone.

In it, Thomas had his arm around a teenage Isabella under a tree, both smiling brightly at the camera.

Sitting in the car, Michael's eyes turned red with anger at the sight of that smile.

"Mr. Brown, should we continue investigating Thomas? If our intelligence can't find anything on him, it's highly likely that he is..."

"I don't care who he is. Make him disappear from Evergreen City completely, along with his team of lawyers." Michael said.

"Yes!"

"Wait!" Michael suddenly spoke, instructing over the phone, "Help the Scott Family and find out who is helping Isabella."

"Understood."

Isabella lay in the VIP ward, unable to sleep, so she sat up and looked at her phone.

She actually saw something interesting.

Bianca had posted a Facebook update.

The photo was of her in a hotel, fresh out of the bath, with a half-exposed shoulder, a flushed face, and ambiguous bite marks down her neck.

The caption read: [The one you love will return to you no matter how long the separation.]

Anyone with a keen eye could tell what had just happened.

Especially since Michael had left with Bianca earlier in the night.

They had gone straight to the hotel and had sex all night.

Isabella wished she could reach through the screen and slap both of them.

She cursed that Michael would last no more than two minutes during sex in the future and that he would have erectile dysfunction every time.

Michael arrived at the hospital and found Isabella's ward, where Ethan and a group of black-clad bodyguards stood outside.

But seeing that it was him, even Ethan hesitated.

He had seen the photo and knew Michael's place in Isabella's heart, so he didn't dare to really stop him.

Michael walked straight in without looking sideways.

Seeing Isabella sitting on the hospital bed with a medicinal patch, playing with her phone, Michael's expression grew colder. "To get you out of the police station and have someone guard you, is that man Thomas?"

Michael had come in a hurry, wearing only a black shirt and suit pants. Standing there, he exuded a chilling aura.

With a bang, the door was shut tightly behind him.

Isabella was momentarily stunned.

She had just seen Bianca's post on her phone, and the next second, Michael appeared.

She couldn't help but glance at his lower body.

Could her curse have worked?

Could he really have erectile dysfunction?

"Michael, what are you doing? Put me down!" Isabella shouted.

"You'll find out soon enough." Michael said coldly.

Isabella didn't expect Michael to actually take her away.

She was both anxious and angry.

Especially since he had just had sex with Bianca in a hotel and now came to bother her?

Hanging upside down on Michael's shoulder, Isabella was so angry that she bit his neck.

Michael winced in pain.

Was Isabella trying to bite him to death?

She used all her strength.
