Chapter 22

Isabella kept wriggling, and Michael directly ordered, "Stop moving!"

"Why should I listen to you? Put me down!" Isabella was both embarrassed and angry.

"Not a chance!" Micheal directly refused.

"Michael, you..."

"Move again, and I'll carry you to Daniel right now and let him see you like this."

After that video call, Michael knew that Daniel was Isabella's weakness.

Sure enough, at the mention of Daniel, Isabella immediately quieted down.

In her current state, not even Thomas should know about it.

She quieted down, but her gaze was sharp enough to kill Michael.

Michael slid Isabella down a bit, holding her in his arms. Isabella didn't dare to resist and let him carry her into the car.

Ethan and the others could only watch, unable to do anything.

After all, Michael was Isabella's husband.

Michael took Isabella back to the Brown Villa.

The room, which had been a mess in the afternoon, was now cleaned up.

Michael placed her on the bed and immediately started taking off his clothes.

"What are you doing?" Isabella thought about how he had just been with Bianca and pushed him away in a panic. "Get away from me! Don't touch me with the hands that touched someone else. It's disgusting."

Michael staggered, and the anger he had just suppressed flared up again. He unbuttoned his collar.

He directly pinned Isabella to the bed, his unique cold scent enveloping her. "You think I'm dirty? Weren't you dirty when you were with that Thomas? I want to see how clean you are!"

"Michael, you bastard. Let go of me." With her hands pinned above her head, Isabella could only wriggle her body to try to escape him.

Isabella's restless movements beneath him only served to arouse him more, and the desire in Michael's eyes was clear.

Isabella's strength was no match for him; he only wanted to make love to her now.

Michael easily tore open Isabella's loose hospital gown, revealing her delicate and beautiful body.

Michael's breathing grew heavier.

It was as if he would turn into a wolf and devour her completely.

"Michael, you're crazy. You just want to take revenge on me for Bianca, right? Hit me if you want, but don't touch me!" Isabella shouted from beneath him, and the swelling patch on her face was rubbed off.

Her face was red and swollen.

The desire in Michael's eyes was instantly replaced by anger. He stared at her face, his voice hoarse, "Who hit you?"

Isabella didn't want his sympathy and turned her face away, "Does it matter if I tell you? Get off me!"

She had once longed for his attention, waiting at home every night until late, but he never came back to accompany her.

Now he was even more excessive.

He had just made love to Bianca in a hotel earlier that night, and now he was here to take revenge on her for Bianca.

Did she really mean nothing to him?

Isabella refused to turn her head, not seeing the angry look in Michael's eyes when he saw the injury on her face.

Someone dared to hurt Isabella? They must be courting death!

Suddenly, her phone rang.

The caller ID showed it was Bianca.

Michael didn't move, and Isabella picked up the call.

"Isabella, why are you doing this? It's one thing to hit me, but Layla is innocent. Why did you have to harm her family? You're so cruel!"

Hearing Bianca's pretentious voice, Isabella felt nauseous, "Don't worry, there's more to come. You might be next."

Bianca laughed, having another trick up her sleeve, "Isabella, you probably don't know yet, but Michael has already decided to help the Scott Family. And you must have seen the photos I just sent. Michael is really amazing. He left in such a hurry that he forgot his coat here."

Isabella looked up at Michael, who was only wearing a shirt, and sneered, "He's right next to me. He said clothes that touched dirty things should be thrown away like trash."

With that, Isabella hung up the phone.

Her feelings were complicated.

She had thought he was taking revenge on her for Bianca.

But he cared about Bianca even more than she had imagined, even coming to her to avenge Layla's grievances.

"Mr. Brown, you really are devoted. Is there anyone you wouldn't help if they asked?" Isabella's tone was sarcastic.

For the sake of Bianca, he had really let go of his years of stubbornness.

Michael's eyes darkened, and he tightened his grip on her wrist, "I never expected Thomas to destroy the Scott Family for you. What exactly is your relationship with him that makes him take such risks for you?"

Isabella sneered, "So, you're only worried about your male pride. Have you ever thought about what I've been through? Even when I was publicly humiliated and almost killed, you still stood by Bianca's side. Michael, you are the least qualified person to question me."

Michael wanted to ask her what had happened.

Isabella kicked him off the bed with all her strength. "Get out, I don't want to see you anymore. From today on, you can continue being a good man and have your romance with Bianca, but let me tell you, the Scott Family won't get away with this!"

She would avenge herself.

Even if Michael got involved, she would make Layla pay.

"Isabella!" Michael called out.

Couldn't she just talk to him nicely like before? Even if she softened a bit, he wouldn't go against her.

"Don't call my name, it's disgusting." Isabella said.

Michael's face darkened, his whole body exuding a cold aura, "Fine, you said it."

He stood by the bed, glanced at the gray sky outside the window, and then looked back at Isabella on the bed. "You want to end things with me, but what about Daniel?"

"What does my grandpa have to do with you?" Isabella turned away, not looking at him, her voice muffled.

Michael took a deep breath, "You haven't forgotten what was said in the video, have you? Grandpa said that your grandpa has already come to Evergreen City Hospital to recuperate after receiving your call. I told him that we would visit him together at ten tomorrow morning."

"I don't need you. I won't let you see my grandpa!" Isabella sat up in anger, her chest heaving violently.

Michael sure knew how to pissprovoke her off. "It's not up to you. We're still married, whether you like it or not. Besides, visiting your grandpa is something I should do. What right do you have to stop me?"

"You!" Isabella was almost blinded by anger, "I can't control what you do, but don't think you can threaten me."

She got out of bed, found her old clothes from the wardrobe, and stormed out, slamming the door behind her.

She didn't want to see Michael for another second.

In the room, Michael didn't chase after her.

He knew that in a few hours, Isabella would definitely appear in front of Daniel.

But there was something he needed to know now. He called Aaron, "Come to the Brown Villa. I'm going to the Scott Family myself."
