The call was abruptly cut off, and Michael's face instantly darkened.
He was right after all.
Isabella was in a hurry to divorce him and dared to disappear just like that. It turned out she had already found someone to rely on.
The divorce wasn't even finalized, and she dared to openly leave with Thomas.
Thinking about how Isabella left with Thomas last night dressed like that and hadn't returned, a fire of anger ignited in Michael's chest, growing stronger by the second.
Glancing back at their marital home, Michael grabbed his coat and strode out.
He had to see for himself what Isabella was up to behind his back.
Divorce? He wouldn't agree to it. She shouldn't even think about it.
Just as he got into the car, his phone rang.
It was his friend, Ethan Martinez.
Michael pressed the answer button, his voice cold, "What is it?"
Ethan was taken aback but couldn't suppress his curiosity. "Well, I heard that last night you threw a party at the hotel to celebrate Bianca's birthday, and Isabella caught you red-handed. She was so furious that she even brought out the divorce papers. Is that true?"
Michael frowned sharply, "You called just to say this?"
Seeing that the call was about to be hung up, Ethan quickly got to the point. "Don't you want to know where Isabella is?"
"You know?" Michael's eyes narrowed.
"Not only do I know, but everyone in our circle knows."
Ethan's tone became more animated, "Last night, a young and beautiful lady was online looking for a high-quality man. Her requirements were that he had to be taller, more handsome, and younger than you-in short, better than you in every way. Think about it, who else but Isabella would dare to do something like that?"
The veins on Michael's forehead throbbed, "She really said that?"
"Absolutely. She offered fifty million dollars. Who else in Evergreen City has that kind of audacity? I heard she already found a man who met her criteria and took him to The Grand Majestic Hotel. By now, I bet the two of them are..."
Before Ethan could finish, Michael hung up the phone with a dark expression.
He floored the gas pedal and headed straight for The Grand Majestic Hotel.
Meanwhile, at the top floor of The Grand Majestic Hotel.
Isabella was suddenly embraced from behind and pressed against the large floor-to-ceiling window.
The man had just come out of the shower, water droplets still clinging to his well-defined body, eventually trickling into the towel wrapped around his waist.
Isabella turned around, stunned by the man's impressive physique. Her delicate hands caressed his strong arms.
She couldn't help but marvel.
This body, this face, compared to Michael, was so much easier to obtain.
Thinking about the cold treatment she had endured for three years in the Brown Family, Isabella felt she had been greatly wronged.
Michael wouldn't even look at her, yet she kept trying to get close to him.
Without Michael, what kind of man couldn't she find?
Why should she endure his mistreatment?
"Isabella, are you satisfied with my body?" The man took Isabella's hand and guided it over his body, his deep voice seductive.
From his chest to his abs, moving downward.
Isabella's hand felt like it was on fire. She slowly lifted it and hooked the man's chin, "Of course I'm satisfied. As long as you help me, I'll give you whatever you want."
"Really? Then let's..." The man lowered his head to kiss her lips.
A loud noise separated them, the door slammed against the wall by a heavy object.
Before Isabella could react, two rows of men in black suits rushed in, pinning the man beside her to the ground.
The man instinctively resisted, but the men in black pulled out self-defense weapons.
Seeing that someone was about to get hurt, Isabella stepped forward and coldly ordered, "What are you doing? Let him go!"
"Who dares to let him go!" A cold and commanding male voice came from the doorway. Isabella looked up to see Michael standing there with a grim expression.
Michael, dressed in a black suit, exuded an overwhelming pressure, his entire demeanor murderous.
Isabella suddenly understood. She grabbed a coat and draped it over herself, taking a few steps forward. "Michael, this is a hotel. Who allowed you to barge into my room? Let him go!"
"Let him go?" Michael's voice was icy, his gaze sweeping over the shirtless man on the floor with intense intimidation, "Dare to touch my woman, and you think I'll let him go?"
Isabella didn't want to argue with him, her words laced with sarcasm, "You should have received the divorce papers by now, Michael. Isn't it ridiculous to act like a loving couple at this point?"
Michael didn't respond.
His sharp eyes fell on her exposed legs, then scanned the bed, finally resting on her red lips, confirming nothing had happened.
Only then did he enter the room.
Michael had shares in the hotel, and knowing he was there, the hotel's managements were in a panic.
They all showed up.
Seeing the scene before them, they quickly retreated to the hallway, afraid that even one more glance would get them involved.
Michael walked up to the man pinned on the ground, his voice as cold as if it came from hell, "Where did you touch her?"
The man had heard their conversation, but the fifty million dollars Isabella offered was too much to pass up, an amount he couldn't even imagine in his lifetime.
He swallowed hard, "You two are already divorced. Whatever we do is our freedom..."
"Freedom? Let's see if your life is more important than your freedom." Michael stepped on his wrist, and with a crack, the man's face turned pale, drenched in cold sweat.
The man was in so much pain he couldn't even make a sound.
Isabella didn't expect Michael to go this crazy, "Michael, what are you doing? Who told you to hurt him?"
Before she could get close, she was scooped up and slammed into Michael's chest.
The coat she was wearing slipped off one shoulder, and Michael looked down to see her wearing only a sexy camisole, with large areas of bare skin.
His eyes darkened instantly.
Was this how she had been with that man just now?
Seeing his gaze, Isabella was furious. She raised her hand and started hitting Michael, "You lunatic, let me go!"
"And then what? Let you go find another man?" Michael easily caught her hands, his eyes narrowing with disdain and mockery, "Isabella, you want a man so badly that you'd go for someone who'd do anything for money?"
Isabella lifted her head, her cold and beautiful face defiant. "So what? At least he's clean, has a good body, a sweet mouth, and can give me what I want. Can you, Michael?"
This completely provoked Michael. He coldly glanced at the man on the floor and ordered, "Drag him out and cripple him."
The men obeyed and quickly took the man away.
"Michael, you can't hurt him. He's my man!"
She had paid for him. How could Michael just take him away?
"Your man?" Michael's entire demeanor was oppressive. He grabbed her wrist with one hand and loosened his suit with the other, turning to press Isabella onto the bed.
He lifted her chin, "Isabella, I haven't signed the divorce papers yet, and you dare to fool around with another man in front of me. Believe me, if I submit today's events to the court, you won't get a single penny, let alone a hundred million dollars!"
