Chapter 332

The elevator opened. Layla walked ahead and hesitantly took out the key to open the door. Her movement was slow like a turtle, and she failed to insert it properly several times.

Just as they entered the hallway, she said, "You should change first."

Before she finished speaking, he quickly stepped forward and pressed her against the door in an instant.

The door closed, leaving Layla slightly dizzy.

In the darkness, she could only see his unusually bright eyes, shining like a wolf. Before she could speak, her lips were forcefully sealed by him.

Samuel held her waist with one hand, pressing her firmly against the door, kissing her deeply, making it hard for her to breathe.

His kisses were always dominant, his muscles tense with anticipation, and this kiss was telling her that he was going to make her his.

"Layla," he called her name through clenched teeth, embracing her tightly, striding toward the room. When he pushed her down, he supported himself with one hand, careful not to hurt her.

"You drive me crazy. Layla." Samuel gritted his teeth.

"It's all your fault for being so beautiful."

He kissed her fiercely, and even bit her ear. The smell of alcohol made Layla feel dizzy. Her trembling hands kept grabbing his shirt, forming wrinkles.

Her consciousness was slipping away.

Suddenly, there was a weight on her, his head resting on her shoulder.

Layla was puzzled. 'What was happening?'

"Samuel?"

'Was he actually falling asleep? At this moment?'

'How embarrassing.' She thought.

Layla quickly interrupted this thought and breathed a sigh of relief. She pushed him off her, lying aside and breathing evenly.

She looked at him speechlessly, feeling a mix of amusement and helplessness. After a few seconds, she went to help him take off his suit and loosen his tie.

After completing all this, Layla prepared to go to the living room to sleep, but as she was about to get up, the man's long arms tightly encircled her waist, pulling her back to bed.

"Samuel." Layla became confused. 'Did he wake up?' But as she anxiously looked at him, she found that he still had his eyes closed. Strangely, she couldn't push away his arm. 'How could a sleeping person have such strength?' She thought.

"What are you doing? Are you pretending to be asleep?" Layla was getting flustered, almost losing her temper. Despite her efforts to push his hand away, she failed.

"Are you not drunk? Pretending to be asleep?"

"Samuel?"

After several struggles, Layla finally exhausted herself and lay still.

She was right at his chest, able to see his handsome and sharp chin just by lifting her head. His chin was always so clean, his laryngeal distinct. Below that was his shirt. Under the white shirt, she could vaguely see his strong abdominal muscles.

Layla blushed secretly. 'What am I thinking? How could I feel desire at this moment?' She thought.

But being held like this by him, Layla felt hot and sweaty.

Staying calm and composed, Layla tried hard to regulate her emotions. After a long time, she drifted off into a dream.

The man beside her slowly opened his eyes and smiled faintly as he lowered his head to gaze at her face.

When they were in the car, Samuel really didn't intend to do anything to her. He just hoped to be with her tonight, which would satisfy him enough.

But the moment the door opened, he couldn't help but kiss her like crazy. The more he kissed, the more fervent his longing for her became. His longing for her was like a wild horse breaking free, like a tide that couldn't be controlled.

He felt her surrender as she was softening. He could completely possess her, but at the last moment, he held back. He knew that the knot in Layla's heart had not completely unraveled. He would wait for the day when she opened her heart fully to him.

Layla was awakened by the sunlight. She opened her eyes, seeing the light veil floating. After several days of rain, the sun was out today, warming the world.

Layla felt a weight on her waist. Looking down, she saw that his long arm was around her waist. She was facing away from him, curled up in his embrace, and his other hand was resting on top of her head. It was a very loving and protective gesture as if he was cherishing his wife.

Layla blushed, feeling tender inside. 'Perhaps most girls couldn't resist this gesture.' She thought.

Afraid of waking him up, she slowly moved in his embrace, finally pushing his hand away and getting up.

Last night, it took a lot of effort to push him away, but now it was so easy, which was magical. 'He was pretending to sleep.' She thought.

But undeniably, his sleeping face was incredibly attractive. Half of his face was hidden in the pillow, only revealing the other half. His nose was straight, and his long eyelashes created a graceful curve. His lips, though thin, bore a natural coolness, accentuated by a delicate pink hue, inviting one to lean in for a kiss.

Layla couldn't help but feel shy about her wicked thoughts.

Her cheeks were burning as if on fire. She needed to wash her face to calm down, which would clear her mind.

With this thought in mind, Layla rushed into the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and washed up. Samuel was still asleep. Checking the time, it was only a little past seven. She decided to make breakfast.

'Am I too kind? Taking in him and making breakfast, full-service treatment.' She thought.

She felt conflicted inwardly, but her body went into the kitchen.

She was busy at work as she went to the office early every day. It had been a long time since she had made breakfast at home. The last time was a few weeks ago.

"Where did I put the pan?" Layla muttered to herself, bending down to open the cabinet to find it.

"It's here." A voice suddenly came from above her head, startling her. Nervously turning around, she found that Samuel stood in front of her, effortlessly taking a black frying pan from the cabinet above her head.

And her head was right on his chest. His white shirt was loosely buttoned and even buttoned incorrectly, revealing a large, sturdy chest.

Below the chest muscles were eight pieces of enticing abdominal muscles.

Layla involuntarily gasped, holding her breath. Her throat felt thirsty, and she was unable to look directly at him.

'Was he doing this on purpose so early in the morning?' She thought.

Her heart was about to explode.

She blushed, dumbfounded, staring at his strong chest, while Samuel suddenly lowered his head and smirked mischievously, "Do you like it?"
